KM cover and claims information

Underwritten by Safrican. Claims are administered by Genlife.
Claims must be submitted to the administrator within six months of the death of the assured life.
A valid claim requires the prescribed claim form and supporting documents, including certified death and identity documents and the payee’s bank details. Additional documents may be requested.
Stillborn children of an extended member are not covered.

Extended family may include a spouse or life partner, children, parents or parents-in-law, siblings, grandchildren and other extended family members as defined by the policy.
Benefits include funeral assistance and support through the claims process.
This is a voluntary, employee-paid product. Cover is subject to underwriting, policy terms and conditions.
Waiting periods, exclusions and limitations may apply. Benefits are paid in accordance with the policy rules.
The treatment and eligibility of members aged 75 and above is subject to confirmation by the underwriter.
